Can someone who remembers or who has a recent menu available tell me which port AA serves in first and business on international flagship service across the atlantic?i enjoyed it on 11/15, too bad they don't have it on domestic!Returned from LHR to ORD in F this evening. Definitely 1983 Graham's Vintage Port.It was defenately Graham's Vintage '83 a couple weeks ago. Very nice.They serve port on the Flagship transcons. I haven't had any in a while and don't remember what type they carry. I've seen it on the cart though.Graham's Vintage Port 1983 is listed in my menus from both Business and First.It was a biz class trip to Europe many years ago on AA that first got me hooked on port. IMHO, AA always serves an excellent port...sometime the other wines are iffy but I've always been happy with the champagne & port that they pour.If you think what AA serves is good, try a 1977 Smith and Woodhouse Vintage...
Big Port fan here, too. Funny, even though it's on the menu, one has to specifically ask for it -- the FA's don't offer it. But Port is great after a fine meal. I guess most people don't ask for it.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
