I originally had tickets for IAH-CPH through zrh. With the SR babkruptcy, I managed to reroute travel trough BRU connecting to SN. My bru-cph segments are on SN operated by Delta Air transport. Does AA pay SN for these segments after I fly, or when the ticket is issued? Then does SN pay delta air transport when I fly or when ticket is issued. If SN is bankrupt by the time I fly, Delta air transport should honor my tickets if they have already been paid, but probably will not if they haven't been paid. Also what is Delta air transport. Is it a subsidiary of SN who will also be bankrupt or a separate compnay. My travel dates are 10/21-11/25. Will Sabena be around then, or should I be finding other options. When you buy a ticket, the payment gets credited to the plating carrier (the airline that issued the ticket). When you fly on another carrier, only after you give them your ticket stub and they submit it to the central clearring house will they get paid.hindukid -
I don't have an answer for you, but there has been some discussion of this topic in the Ansett forum in the last week or so. You might want to check there.
