I flew three times this past spring with Air China and gave them my Aeroplan (AE Elite, *G) number each time. Nothing has been posted yet however points from my flights on Thai were posted faithfully and quickly. Has anyone any experience or insight?

**The new flight validation process for missing flight credits has been introduced in conjunction with the Star Alliance member airlines. As of 2008, all Star Alliance airline partners will apply the new validation process that requires the operating airline to review and approve all requests for missing flight credits.
When she checked in ( at a smaller airport) for a domestic flight connecting
to an AC flight, she was told they could not input the number.
We had to send in the BP and ticket for credit, which took about a month.
I was on a domestic flight with Air China from XIY - PEK on the 12 June in F class, the BP showed my card number and my status. However, I still haven't see my points yet, I guess it would take a little while, unless last few times it credited to my account rather fast.
Anyway, good luck to those missing points.
p.s. you don't have to send all your BPs and tickets to Aeroplan, instead you can email them a copy of your BPs and tickets, which is faster and won't get lost in the mail.
