Jealousy Issues, advice needed?

  • This guy I was seeing for a year has issues (depression). He called things off because he feels he can't give me what I need and loves me as a friend. Ok fine, I can deal with that. I can't make him love me, but we didn't want to lose the great friendship we have. We still hang out. The other night he was telling me I should catch up with my male friend who is coming back from overseas for a couple of weeks. He said I should go out for tea with him or something. I caught up with him last night, we met at the local gardens and talked for a few hours, then got take away and went and sat in the car at a lookout over the main street. When I called my ex later and I said I had caught up with my friend, he said "I had a sick feeling in my stomach because I knew you were with him". And now he's upset because going to the lookout was "a bit romantic" (& going out for tea on our own wouldn't have been??)! It's not even like that! He was quizzing me about everything - how did I wear my hair, did he dress to impress, what does he want from me, what did we talk about...He is being so unfair. He broke up with ME. He knows how I feel about him, but he doesn't want to be with me. He says he wants me to be happy. And he was pushing for me to catch up with this guy. He was saying "I'm cool with it all, I'm mature". So why am I now in the wrong? What should I do?

    I'm in my 20's and he's in his 30's.

  • he doesnt want you
but seeing others want you he does not care for
you see this is unexplainable unless you are going through it
so i say do what you want and he will get over it
or if he doesnt get over it
then he should do somthing about it
but YOU should play it cool
make him jealous...maybe things will work out in your favor

    help me please =)
