Where do teenagers find drugs like cocaine or heroine?

  • There are a lot of teenagers that are under the influence of drugs, but where do they find it? I'm talking about kids of 14 and 15?


  • hanging out with the wrong crowd.
    ive been around drugs my whole life.
    and they end up being friends with dealers or having friends who know the dealers..
    its SO easy to get drugs.
    and you would think they get it from other teens in school, but usually its only pot they get from school.. hard drugs are usually from friends they meet online or friends they meet in cities, towns.

    also, parents are supplying alcohol for kids at their house to make sure they are "safe"
    its all fuc

    i just realized that over half of my friends have either sold drugs, dated someone who did them, and been addicted to them. i dated someone who went to rehab for crack. wtf?
    its f^cked. i just lost so many friends to drugs.
    meth is terrible. and heroin. Sh^t !!!!!!

    I would like to add that im not from the ghetto at all, I live in a small town with a lot of old people and nothing to do.

  • They buy them from drug dealers - and many drug dealers recruit other teenagers to sell in school or around the neighborhood.

    This one girl gets it from her boyfriend at my school. They share it or something. it is a very sad thing.

  • I honestly have no idea.

    I am 15 years old, and WAY above the influence.

    Drugs never appealed to me.

    Most kids at my school find drugs from their older brother's and sisters.

    Even sometimes their parents...

    So I guess from their older siblings.


  • There is no one specific answer; instead their exists a handful of indicators. You should watch out for the following tell-tale signs:

    (In Ireland) an old pair of sneakers tied together at the laces are thrown and hang from the cable wires that stetch from electrical pole to pole. This denotes an area where drug distribution is active.

    The demeanour and behavior of older siblings of your childrens freinds should reveal quite a bit.

    Any house-party or even something as 'innocent' as your child hanging out with a freind in an unsupervised household or remote location (away from both parties household) are all prime scenarios for teens to experience their first drug experience.

    Finally older children in school will often be the not-so-obvious pushers.

  • From the people on answers who tell you where to look and who to ask. Get real people..there were some kids who didn't know this stuff yet. Of course...very few.


  • They find them(cocaine and heroine) in drug-infested neighborhoods. Drug-dealers are everywhere and you can pretty much find these people by word-of-mouth. That's why there are police and N.E.T. Teams working on the streets everyday trying to enforce laws to put an end to drug-dealing. It affects everyone-the neighborhood, innocent people, kids, etc.because it create a lot of crime around these environments!

  • by word of mouth, users will tell their friends who tell other people and it goes on and on, stay drug free and live the life that was meant for you.


  • friends, neighbors, classmates usually but some are real into it and can go to the dealers, stranger or friend, themselves.

    And to the person about parents givings kids alcohal. The parents know the kids will be drinking, you cant prevent it, so if its at home in a familiar enviroment with a guardian there they can make sure nothing horrible happens right?

  • From friends & their friends older siblings. If they hang out in parks, it may be some kids at the park. They could be stealing it from friends parents if they have a hidden stash. Neighbors, cousins, the list is endless...
