Flew over to CDG on Wednesday night 28JUNE, YQB-YUL flight was at 1420-1515 while YUL-CDG was at 1945-0840 (+1). Got to my hotel a little after 1000 CDG local time, fired up the laptop on the wifi and checked FT, CF and my AE account.
Lo and behold, at 0500 YUL local time on 29JUNE, about nine hours after 870's departure from YUL, less than three hours after the flight's arrival at final destination my account showed:

Just got back in from a day of seeing the sights and based on yesterday's experience, I thought maybe my bonus miles would post BEFORE the next Sunday sweep. Logged in to AE and saw:

I challenge anybody (flying on metal equipped with internet access, e.g. LH) to report seeing their AP miles posted while still in mid-air. :DI assume the SLC-DEN portion was UA and the DEN-YYZ was AC? I have never had to send anything in for AC flights - the SE desk would take care of it. Possibly because of the UA flights it is taking longer?At the risk of being repetitive......
Flew AC870 YUL-CDG last night 13JULY (nice flight, 20 minutes early on arrival this morning) and have just logged in to my AE account....points for YQB-YUL and YUL-CDG already there within 3 hours of arrival at destination !

Happy Bastille Day from Paris !I can do you one better--I flew on LH YVR-FRA-BCN and the YVR-FRA miles and COS bonus posted by the time I got to BCN. FRA-BCN miles and COS bonus posted the next day. All the Elite bonuses have posted now as well (again, before the Sunday sweep).I'm still waiting for my miles to post from a flight from SLC-DEN-YYZ in April. Sent in the info to the SE office at Dorval 2 weeks ago and still hasn't posted. How long do they usually take?Credit where credit is due. I'm not reporting any records, but I will say that the very prompt accounting means that I know within days if there is a problem. This makes tracking of accrued miles and bonus miles so much easier. ^#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
